Accident Coverage - This product provides additional coverage for accidents. There is no underwriting review and benefits are paid directly to the insured. Coverage includes benefits for AD&D, hospital admission, fractures, x-rays, emergency room visits, ambulance, coma, rehabilitation, tuition and/or daycare, and seat belt and/or airbag, as well as riders for outpatient sickness, ICU, private duty nurse, and surgery and anesthesia. Full family plans are available. Cancer Coverage - Is your supplemental health insurance keeping pace with the advances in cancer treatment? 63% of the charges associated with cancer are not covered by any major medical plan, which is where supplemental cancer plans can really help. Benefits are paid directly to the insured even if other insurance pays. Benefits cover cancer diagnosis, medical procedures, hospital confinement, lodging, transportation and new/experimental treatment. Critical Illness - Did you know that health insurance provides no coverage for non-medical, non-traditional treatments or out-of-pocket expenses? Critical Illness plans cover specified critical illnesses including cancer, heart attack, stroke, kidney failure and organ transplant. Employees can pick their benefit amounts, which are paid as a one time, lump sum issued in $5,000 increments up to $50,000 or $100,000. Family coverage is available. Dental - Dental coverage provides benefits for diagnostic and preventive care, as well as almost every form of specialty dental treatment. Acceptance for treatment is guaranteed. Plans offer a personal choice of dentist, various benefit levels, and orthodontic coverage available as well as competitive pricing with no underwriting review. Hospital Indemnity - This product is designed to fill the gap in your employees' current health coverage and is a great way to supplement a high-deductible major medical plan or provide coverage for those with no medical insurance. It pays a daily benefit to the insured individual for hospital stays over 24 hours regardless of other insurance coverage. Optional riders are available for emergency room expenses, accidental death, outpatient treatment, intensive care treatment, private duty nurse, surgery and anesthesia, and ambulance and transportation. Long Term Care - Protect what you've worked all your life to acquire with long term care insurance. Premiums are based on health and age, so many younger individuals are purchasing these plans at a discount and paying them off during their wage-earning years. Plans are customized to suit individual needs and include home health care. Short Term Disability (STD) and Long Term Disability (LTD) - Disability plans provide coverage for loss of an employee's most valuable possession - their paycheck. The plans provide benefit payments for loss of income in the event of a non-occupational accident or sickness. Short Term Disability even covers pregnancy leave. Many different plans available to best suit your employees' needs. Term Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance - Voluntary group term life insurance is an inexpensive way for employees to supplement their life insurance needs through payroll deduction. Because it is offered to a group of individuals, the cost is often more economical than if you were to purchase the same amount of coverage on your own. Employees can elect additional life insurance in $10,000 increments up to $500,000. Simplified underwriting and guaranteed-issue amounts are available. Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D), which provides additional coverage in the event of an accident, is also available. Vision - Did you know that a thorough eye exam is key to finding vision problems and an important preventive step in maintaining your overall health? A voluntary vision benefit is a good way to expand your employee's benefits on a voluntary basis through payroll deduction. Comprehensive vision coverage including exams, lenses or contacts, frames, and a refractive surgery discount is available to groups of two or larger. A large provider network is available but not required. |
